Truthful Lies

Smoking a cigarette up that high,
Craving so hard to slowly die.
Trying to end our world,
A world full of truthful lies.

Walking a line on a Wednesday night,
Bumping into poles that stand by the sides.
Thinking of how I’d made you smile.
“Promise you this, I’ll be right by your side”
That is the one who truly lied.

Bumping into poles that stand by the sides.
That is the time where I die,
Without even knowing the colour of right,
Like just another dumb head who made some cry,
I better find a place and quietly lie.

Walking a line on a Saturday night,
Bumping into poles that stand by the sides.
“This is wrong and That is right.”
“Go on son, Its all your life.”
That is the one who truly lied.
